Happy Birthday Bria!

Saturday night we celebrated Gabrielle's 4th birthday. She wanted cupcakes with blue frosting. Yummy! The girls had a lot of fun helping Grandma bake the cupcakes. Happy Birthday sweet Bria!

A Bit of Scenery

Haystack Rock

 

 

 

Our last full day at the beach turned out to be another beauty. The weather improved throughout the day and in the afternoon we could not resist a walk down to Haystack Rock. The tide was out as the sun was setting. It was perfect (see the next blog for the scenery pics). By the time we got back Pepper was soaked, Tuffo suit or not, but was so happy! What an amazing time together as a family.

Beach Walks

 Nothing is better than a walk on the beach at sunset. Pepper had a great time riding, and doing a bit of walking too. Her Tuffo suit worked great keeping the wind and rain off of her. It is a little big so should work next year too.

Seaside Aquarium

The Seaside Aquarium is small but was very fun for the kids...and adults too. There were some tanks with sea animals to touch and hold, lots of fish to see, and some very enthusiastic seals that would do all kinds of crazy antics to get us to throw them fish. They were so fun to watch!

Thankgiving Dinner

We had quite a feast on Thanksgiving afternoon. Katrina did a great job decorating our table so that we felt right at home. We feasted on Mock turkey, Pat's cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, stuffing, Joy's key lime pie, all so yummy! Even with all that great food, I think that spray cream straight into the mouth was the girl's favorite!

Thanksgiving Beach Time

We awoke to a beautiful Thanksgiving day. It always amazes me that the Oregon coast can be so warm and sunny in the winter. We enjoyed playing on the beach all morning. The kids loved playing in the sand and Sebastian had to test the water, of course. With great delight the kiddos "threw" Grandpa into the water. Grandpa is such a good sport! All in all it was a Thanksgiving to be thankful for. Family, the beauty and magnificence of the ocean, the laughter and joy of children. We are blessed for sure!
