Late summer/early fall means prune season in what is left of Grandma and Grandpa's Italian prune orchard. We have quickly found that Pepper loves them "apples". She will eat and eat, as long as she can convince us to keep giving them to her. When we would walk past the part of the driveway littered with fallen, rotting prunes, we had to be vigilant to keep her from eating them. "Yumm!"
