Jumping never gets old!

"READ it?!! I thought you said, EAT it!"

Hands down Pepper's favorite activity right now. When you hold her in a standing position now, she jumps the entire time. Thank you to Shawntae for passing on all this fun baby gear!

A Morning Hike

Reintroducing Mom to Southfork after a 35 year absence. She said that when they hiked there when my brother Aaron was a baby, they saw a rattle snake curled up on the ledge right next to the trail. That is definitely more exciting than most of our hikes up there. It was so fun to get back on the trail!

Chilly Sunset

Fall is here. Walks now include cozy fleeces and warm hats.

The Double-Paci

Pepper has started to pull the pacifier in and out of her mouth. Unfortunately, it makes her upset when she can't get it back in her mouth and that will sometimes postpone sleep. Jo and I decided to be sneaky and fill her hands with another pacifier and a toy so that she would leave the one in her mouth alone. This is what we found after she fell asleep. 

Daddy's Truck

Pepper loves riding with her Daddy in the truck. Since there is no back seat, she gets to sit right next to Jo and "talk" with him the whole time. Much more fun than talking to the mirror in the back seat of the Subaru.

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'...

Pepper has completed a very important developmental task, the ROLL. She also has figured out how to scoot around on her belly a bit. I don't even want to think about her crawling. This all just happens too fast!

Yummy Payback

We owed Robb and Jess big time for feeding our dogs last minute when we left for the weekend. We have also have been wanting to introduce John and Pat to The Blue Palm... but let's face it, we can ALWAYS come up with a good excuse for frozen yogurt!
Ezekiel had fun with Aunt Pat and making his mom chase him around the restaurant and behind the cash register. He is so fast! Pepper just looked at the yogurt longingly. Soon she will get to enjoy it too!
