Oh Little, Tiny Christmas Tree

We finally put up our little Christmas tree. It is so exciting that this is the last year we will have a tiny, fake tree, but it is also a little sad. This $10 Walmart tree has been a part of our home for 7 years. We will have to keep it for the kids room in the new house. Anyway, Pepper loved the lights very much. She loves to sit and stare at the tree. Hopefully we will get up the energy to put ornaments on before Christmas.

New Developments

There are two new things that Pepper has been doing lately. One is trying her best to "help" feed herself. She succeeds at making a huge mess. The other is using her pointer finger. She has it out constantly, touching everything. It also works well for stealing her pacifier back from her Dad. Yes, I have told him that he is teaching her to steal pacifiers out of others mouths. Yes, she is going to be a menace at Sabbath School.

Helping Mommy

This is sometimes the only way housework gets done. This time, she fell asleep while I was vacuuming.

Evening Playtime

After a busy day of work, we so much look forward to this time with Pepper. She is such a funny little girl, so curious about everything. She is trying so hard to crawl right now. It won't be long, I'm sure!

A Winter Treat

Jo treated us to a yummy baked apples and ice cream tonight. He, of course, had to let his little girl try the ice cream.

Independence

Pepper loves to take her pacifier out of her mouth, but there is no guarantee that she will put it back correctly. Having it upside down does not seem to bother her, though. I can't wait until she starts putting her shoes on the wrong feet. Love it!

Fine Motor Manipulation

Watching Pepper pick up a piece of fruit is a bit like watching hillbillies wrestle a greased pig. When she finally gets it to her mouth, you can't help but cheer for her. These pics are also fun because you can see her hair! Yep, we think she is finally growing some.
