Solid Attempt

For a couple of weeks Pepper has been watching us intently whenever we eat. She follows the food from our plate into our mouth like it is the most fascinating thing she has ever seen. Then the other night she grabbed my hand as it was trying to put food in my mouth and tried to place it in her mouth instead.  After this we decided she may enjoy trying some real food. She does not really eat very much of it but seems to enjoy the process. Who wouldn't like making a great big mess?

First Fit

When we had cats one of their favorite toys was a wadded up piece of paper. Jo decided to see if our child has similar taste. Yep, she sure does! She was slobbering on it and trying to eat it so I took it away...thus her first fit. So cute now but just a taste of what we are in for in the future. What an adventure this will be!

Attempt a Sit

Pepper wants to sit up so bad. She has spent a lot of time on her back doing "crunches" with her shoulders off the floor, attempting to sit up. If I spent half the time exercising that she does I would have abs of steel!

Rolling Expert

Despite the obvious work it takes (notice the grunts and groans), Pepper enjoys rolling very much...almost as much as jumping. This is the first time she has been able to move herself from point A to point B. We realize our life has now drastically changed. Moving herself will only get faster and more precise from here on out.

A Moose Moment

We had the pleasure of a visit from Ryan before he took off to the wilds of North Dakota. He is going to be driving for Jeremy off and on, so we may not seem him for a while. Pepper really seemed quite comfortable with him. I think she knows that this is one of the nicest guys she will ever meet!
