Got You, Dad

Pepper loves feeling Daddy's goatee. She used to gently touch it, now she has decided to grab and pull. I have a feeling that the goatee will be going away soon... 

Rockin'

We are amazed at how fast development happens this first year. Pepper is now getting up on her hands and knees, rocking back and forth. She does not get anywhere yet, but soon she will! Watch out!

Practice Makes Perfect

Pepper's ability to sit by herself keeps getting better and better. It is so cute when she gets excited and loses her balance. I agree with Gumby's statement..."it's like her bottom is just too round".

Leaves and Leaves...and More Leaves

It was so sweet of Sebastian and Natalie to sit with Pepper in the leaves for pictures! Grandma only had to bribe them with 5 pieces of candy. Pepper couldn't wait to get her hands...and mouth on more leaves!

Its true, I cannot stop myself from taking pictures...especially pictures of our cute little girl! She has now figured out how to stick out her tongue. She entertained the row behind us at church for quite a while showing off her new skill. So glad I was able to capture it a couple of times!

Beautiful blue eyed girls

Our good friends Sherisa, Broc, and Emmarie were in town this weekend. We all had busy schedules but we were able stop by for a short visit. It was very fun watching the two girls together now that they are a little bit older. I set Pepper down by Emmarie and she immediately pulled off her sock. Then reached for her other sock. Next she started pulling on her pants. I'm not sure what that was all about, but I am realizing that we will need to teach our daughter some manners. The rest of the time, Pepper seemed content just to look at her friend...or at Daddy when he was making funny faces. Emmarie is growing fast, with the most amazing thigh rolls I have ever seen! She is also so vocal, Pepper could not get a word in edgewise! I love to see the differences and similarities in the two girls. They are so precious!
