Christmas Eve

Our first holiday meal in the new house

Pepper approves of her first taste of Heather's amazing truffles

So happy to have Auntie Mindy here!

And Uncle Carl too!

"Babies" and stuffed animals are big hits

Especially a baby Pepper can feed
Our Christmas fun started on a busy Christmas eve this year. Mom and Dad picked up Carl and Mindy in Tri-Cities, and Ralph, Heather and Allison arrived from Portland. We gathered at our place for a meal and then opened a few presents. Pepper really enjoyed presents this year, but mostly just enjoyed pulling paper off of and out of packages. She wanted to "help" everyone with their presents. She received some fun stuffed animals which are always a hit, some awesome books, and a couple of dolls. One of the dolls she can feed with a sippy cup or bottle which was a big hit. She seems to already have a bit of mothering instinct. Another family favorite was a freestanding basketball hoop Pepper received from my parents. The guys had an interesting game of PIG in the kitchen, living room and dining room...
Jo and I are so excited to be in our house, entertaining guests at the holidays. It seems too good to be true!
