There have been a couple of awesome storms in the past week with dark clouds, loud thunder, and lightning. The dogs hate it, but it is fun to watch and it gives some excellent lighting for photography.
This last picture reminds me of rubbing wheat together to extract the kernels back home in Brewster. I remember we had only a few clumps and so it was easy to harvest the entire crop over a month or two of randomly walking by and grabbing a stalk.
