We were so excited to head down to Southern California for Thanksgiving vacation AND Carl and Mindy's wedding. We planned on a little R & R and then on helping with wedding prep. Pepper had a lot of firsts on this trip. The beginning of our adventure started with a first plane ride and first snowflake encounter while walking out to the plane in Tri-Cities. We were ready for anything on the plane because I had heard that some babies do not feel well during altitude change. Evidently we have a little traveler on our hands because Pepper seemed to enjoy the plane immensely. Mostly she thought it was great that there were tons of new people sitting all around her that she could flirt with. She spent all of her awake time trying to see around Jo and I to smile at the people behind us. We inadvertently planned the trip well because there was two fairly short legs with a 3 hour layover in between. That gave Pepper a taste of the plane but allowed a break from it also. We would definitely do it again, especially since she flies free until age 2. Now to get planning...
