Weekends away seem to be a bit scarce in our busy lives right now. Thankfully, we planned months ago to meet our friends Sherisa, Broc, and Emmarie at Wallowa Lake for a weekend. What a fun time we had! We enjoyed a variety of activities and lack of activities (chilling is not overrated), but I have to admit our favorite was watching our two fascinating daughters interact. They are starting to notice each other much more actively now and Emmarie gave Pepper some very sweet kisses. They both enjoy books and also both like Emmarie's chew toy, "Squeaky Mushroom Head". They spent a lot of the weekend "sharing" that toy. You can see in the pictures I caught Pepper red handed during a moment of sharing.
