My first Mother's Day was celebrated over the entire weekend. Not only did I get to hang out with my sweet little girl, but on Sabbath Mom and Dad had a lunch get together at their house to celebrate all the mothers. The grandmas were there, as well as Keith and Nancy, and Jeannette Muse. Then on Sunday, after Dad cooked us a yummy breakfast, us girls headed to Tri-Cities for some retail therapy. My Mom was awesome and wrangled Pepper while I shopped. Pepper was full of copious amounts of energy, as usual. She figured out how fun it is to look under doors in the dressing rooms, run around the store touching everything and pulling things off the racks, and she started her ear splitting shrieking again, in Ann Taylor Loft. Finally, Mom was able to relax a little more when they found the mall play area...or so she thought. Pepper spent a lot of time trying to hug the other children (sometimes seen as a threat by unsuspecting children), steal stuff out of diaper bags and try to beg ice cream off of other kid's dads. Finally, we headed to Costco where Pepper was contained in a cart...so nice! Plus there were tons of great samples. All in all, my first Mother's Day was the best! Thanks so much Mom!
Jo was so thoughtful and left me a nice card to open "from Pepper". Evidently he forgot to ask for her input when choosing it. So funny...I only showed her a couple times...

This entire post gave me my laugh for the day! Let's remember to never go shopping together, just you, me, P and E. That would be a disaster. AND I think it is pretty hilarious that P was scared of your Mothers Day card.
