Pepper's first birthday was an absolute blast! We woke up to a
beautiful, sunny day. First thing in the morning Melissa McFadden came
out to the house to take some family pictures. Pepper had a great time
playing in the yard, swinging, squishing a cupcake, and taking a bubble
bath outside for the pictures. Melissa's job was not an easy one, but
somehow she was able to capture some great pictures, in a short amount of
time, while chasing an active one year old. She has tricks, like
tickling Pepper with a feather duster to make her laugh, and making cat
noises to get Pepper to look at her. Pepper fell for that one every time! If you would like to see the pictures just click here and type in the passcode: fackenthall.
After a much needed nap we met Grandma and Grandpa, Nana, Great Gumby and Great Grandma D at the Maple Counter Cafe for lunch. What yummy food, especially since they serve breakfast all day! Pepper had a bear shaped blueberry pancake since blueberries are her favorite food. She enjoyed her meal so much that she required a complete outfit change afterwards. Daddy let her choose a little stuffed animal to take home. The little baby chick was quite life-like and she now says "peep, peep, peep".
